Ambers Beach House offers boutique pet friendly accomodation in the vibrant village of Sawtell.
Our home is a unique architecturally designed 70's beach house, which has been appointed in a relaxed coastal style, and is set in lush sub tropical gardens.

We are a relaxed and laid back pet and family friendly bed and breakfast , where your every need has been anticipated.

The property is fully fenced and features a guest library, original open fire place, lounge and dining areas. Choose from indoor and outdoor dining options. There is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and BBQ.
We welcome your dog inside and they can relax as if they were at home.
Ambers is close to unspoilt beaches, great dog friendly cafes, restaurants & bars , an Art Deco Cinema, Bongil Bongil National Park & the multi award winning Bonville International Golf resort.
We are located just 1km from the main street of Sawtell, which is an easy walk or short drive.

Enjoy the local dog friendly beach, or the northern end of Sawtell beach can be visited with your dog on leash.
There are many cafe choices in our tree lined main avenue where you and your dog can kick back and take in all the North Coast has to offer.

Ambers Beach House has two suites:
Longboard - balinese beach style
Summercloud - modern coastal style

The suites are designed to be private, with separate entrances and decks, perfect for couples or a group of 4.

Our amenities include ensuite bathrooms, a bar fridge, quality glassware, Will & Co coffee, and tea supplies.
Enjoy complimentary Netflix access, gourmet breakfast basket, dog treats on arrival, egyptian cotton sheets and towels.

Marnie & Wayne's property is absolutely fantastic. They really have a sense of style and the house is beautiful, comfortable, and cozy. The garden is super pet-friendly & secure, which is very important for any dog owner. We stayed there for 2 nights in total (on our way up and from Byron Bay). Marnie and Wayne are lovely folks, even baked some banana bread for us! Would totally recommend this property, plus the house is also super well located, just a short distance away from Sawtell's town centre & beach. 5 paws out of 5!

Wayne and Mardi were so welcoming to us and our dogs form the moment we worked through the day. Special touches of fresh bread and pastries and breakfast made us feel very spoilt and the beagles loved the layout of the house with open doors and spaces. We all had a very relaxing break. Thank you

We had an amazing time at the property. The property was extremely dog friendly and kid friendly. Mardi and Wayne are very friendly and warm host and have gone a mile extra to ensure their guest are comfortable. The small details that they added in the house made our stay extra special. Definitely worth staying at the accommodation. It is perfect for 2 couples or a big family. One of the best dog friendly accommodation in Australia

The owners of Ambers have thought of everything! Beautiful decor, immaculate and clean, sundrenched patio with BBQ, delicious breakfast with local products, and my doggo loved it! I didn't need to ask for anything as everything was provided. I will definitely go back.

We had a wonderful week at Ambers Beach House Sawtell. The hosts (Wayne and Mardi) are lovely and made us all feel very welcome, even delivering us pastries and bread from the local bakery. Our two miniature dachshunds had the time of their lives walking on the beach every morning. Sawtell is a great town with plenty of cafe & restaurant choices if you like eating out. We would recommend staying at Ambers for your next beach holiday.

Wayne and Mardi have a beautiful home in Ambers. They are supportive and welcoming. Our three dogs loved the stay and the property is 100% dog friendly

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Wayne and Mardi are generous and hospitable hosts. A room full of books/magazines and an open fire added added to our perfect stay. It was by far the cleanest and accommodating place we have ever stayed in. A big THANK YOU to our lovely hosts.
